Role overview

Ensuring that our mobile and web applications meet quality standards by helping drive our quality efforts. You will play a key role in testing, validating, and improving the performance and functionality of our applications to deliver a great experiences to our users.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile and web applications. 
• Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and UX/UI designers to understand requirements and identify potential risks early. 
• Ensure that the mobile and web applications meet high-quality standards in terms of performance, functionality, and usability.
• Analyse defects and report issues in a clear, working with developers to ensure timely resolutions.
• Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline by integrating automated tests and ensuring smooth deployments.

Required skills and qualifications

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance/testing, specifically focusing on mobile and web applications - Mid-level. 
• Work knowledge of at least 3 years using JavaScript; TypeScript is a big plus.
• Proficiency in Cypress/Selenium/Playwright for web applications.
• Strong knowledge of test automation, particularly for mobile apps using Appium/Detox. 
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins/GitHub Actions). 

Skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and advocate for quality standards.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies.
