Role overview:

This role is the keystone of our entire operation. A truly outstanding UX designer will elevate everyone's work, making our developers' code shine through intuitive interfaces and giving our marketers a product people actually want to use.

They'll translate our complex AI capabilities into seamless, delightful experiences that users can't live without. That's why this needs to be a principal-level position. We're not just filling a slot; we're bringing in someone who will fundamentally shape our product and drive our success. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead the UX/UI design process for our mobile app, CarPlay, and Android Auto interfaces, with some focus on responsive web design.
• Utilise AI-powered design tools such as Uizard, Figma AI plugins, and other emerging technologies to enhance productivity and creativity.
• Create seamless, intuitive user journeys that are both visually appealing and highly functional.
• Develop user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using a combination of traditional and AI-assisted methods.
• Conduct user research and usability testing, incorporating AI-driven analytics to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align designs with technical constraints and business objectives.
• Stay at the forefront of UX/UI trends and AI advancements in design, continuously integrating new techniques into your workflow.
• Knowledge of copyright would be beneficial. 

Required skills and qualifications:

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
• 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, with a strong focus on mobile applications
• Extensive experience with AI-powered design tools (e.g., Uizard, Figma AI plugins)
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
• Deep understanding of mobile UX/UI best practices for iOS and Android platforms
• Experience designing for in-vehicle interfaces (Apple CarPlay, Android Auto) is a plus
• Strong portfolio showcasing innovative, AI-enhanced mobile app designs
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex design concepts and collaborate effectively with developers
• Fluency in English, both speaking and writing. Dutch is a plus. 

 Skills:

• Passion for leveraging AI to push the boundaries of UX/UI design
• Ability to create smooth, outstanding, and noticeable app designs that stand out in the market
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment with talented mobile app developers
• Continuous learner, always exploring new AI tools and design methodologies
• User-centric mindset with a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality

Preferred Experience: 

• Familiarity with voice user interface (VUI) design for in-vehicle applications
• Knowledge of AR/VR design principles for potential future app features
• Experience with design systems and component libraries
• Understanding of basic front-end development concepts to better collaborate with developers
