ParkBee is entering an exciting new phase of growth and seeks an experienced and strategically minded Head of Operations to lead and optimize our operations function. You will play a critical role in enhancing customer experience, driving efficiency, and scaling the business to meet the increasing demand of a fast-moving marketplace.
Role overview:
The Head of Operations will lead the development and execution of strategies that ensure seamless operational execution. You will be responsible for managing supply and demand dynamics, improving partner relationships, and ensuring operational excellence at scale. Working as part of the Business Unit management team, you will build and lead a high-performing operations team, implementing scalable processes, driving key performance metrics, and positioning the company for continued rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Strategy: Develop and implement a robust operations strategy that supports business goals, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and market growth.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Customer satisfaction: Ensure the team continually prioritize a customer first approach and effectively troubleshoot problems that arise at our locations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve the customer experience.
- Performance Management: Develop and track key operational KPIs and customer satisfaction, and take action to drive improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Customer Success teams to align on business priorities, ensure smooth operations, and deliver a seamless user experience.
- Partner Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with partners and key stakeholders, ensuring mutual success and operational excellence.
- Expansion & Market Growth: Support future strategic international growth by partnering with leadership on thinking through the operational aspects of market expansions.
- Technology Integration: Leverage data and technology tools to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making. Partner with tech teams to build and improve tools that support operations at scale.
- Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure that all operations adhere to legal, regulatory, and compliance standards, implementing risk management strategies where necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
- 7+ years of experience in operations management, preferably with exposure to a high-growth technology company, on-demand services, or a marketplace platform.
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze complex data sets and drive insights that improve performance.
- Experience with scaling operations, including launching new markets or services.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Passion for technology and innovation in the on-demand or marketplace sector.
