Launch Manager

ParkBee is a digital car park operator. Our mission is to remove parked cars from the street and give space back to the city. These last few years we have seen our business grow exceptionally. Now, we are accelerating growth and ready to grow our inventory of car parks. For this, we have expanded our Acquisitions team and we are focused on acquiring multiple garages or leasing them long-term. This changes the way we handle location launch management on a daily basis. 

What you’ll be doing: 

Since launching our locations is increasing in complexity, we’ve decided it’s time for a dedicated Launch Manager. In this position, your aim is to deliver a fully operational ParkBee location to our Operations team, who can then independently run it after launch. You work together with our Business Development Team in the pre-launch phase, making sure the location is fully branded as ParkBee, that it is innovative and offers a seamless user experience. You will ensure that a location’s pre-opening phase is running smoothly, according to schedule and budget. In this role you will:

  • Ensure the successful delivery of new locations ready for use to the Operations team. 
  • Be in charge of running multiple projects at once, handling impactful locations and budgets. 
  • Continuously improve the launch process, in line with our business values.
  • Develop a detailed project plan and track progress on your key deliverables, together with the Acquisitions team.
  • Constantly improve the transition period from our Acquisitions team to the Operations team, in close collaboration with our Business Development Manager. 
  • Build relationships and work closely with stakeholders from different departments, supporting- and technical partners.
  • Ensure the launch strategy stays in line with ParkBee’s operational goals, while it is also scalable and ready for new territories.

Who we’re looking for:

We are in search of a  Launch Manager, one who has profound technical knowledge, works analytical and thinks entrepreneurial. Someone who is strategically smart and excited by the disruptive approach of a scale-up company. Our ideal candidate is process-driven, loves complex projects and eager to manage multiple stakeholders. 

We are likely to be a match, if you: 

  • Have 7+ years of experience in operations or project management in an off-line environment.
  • Have project management experience in real-estate, mobility or infrastructure is a plus.
  • Possess strong communication skills.
  • Are fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Have the ability to see the bigger picture, whilst also having an eye for detail.
  • Are structured, organised and able to work under pressure.
  • Are data-driven: you make your decisions based on data insights.
