Account Manager

ParkBee is a digital car park operator on a mission. We aim to remove parked cars from the street and give space back to the city. These last few years we have seen our business grow exceptionally. We have opened offices in Amsterdam and London, and now we are ready to conquer the rest of Europe. Having strong relationships with our clients is crucial to our growth. Therefore we are looking for a Account Manager to maintain relationships with our clients and turn them into ParkBee promoters. 

What you'll be doing:

Currently, we are managing over 160 parking locations in The Netherlands and each location has at least one unique contact. As our new Account Manager, your job is to work closely with clients to ensure they are satisfied with the services we provide. You will proactively ask for feedback, to improve our services continuously. 

As our Account Manager, you have a wide range of responsibilities. Your main focus is on renewing, upselling and cross-selling our services. Aside from that, you work on achieving the best possible ParkBee experience for each customer. This will, in turn, result in retention and expansion.

You will be working closely with the Acquisition Team including our Business Development Managers, Sales Analysts and Acquisitions Managers. 

As our Account Manager you will:

  • Onboard new clients.
  • Gather feedback by regularly checking-in with our clients about our products.
  • Stay on top of things about everything that’s happening in our locations.
  • Encourage renewals of contracts, upsells and cross-sells. Ultimately, you’ll be selling new services to existing clients.
  • Updating and keeping our clients in the loop of new ParkBee developments and new products.
  • Identifying the needs of our clients, by gathering input from them which can be transferred to our product roadmap.

Who we’re looking for:

We are looking for an analytical, creative person with great communication skills. Someone who wants to provide the best client experience and has fun while doing it. 

We will likely be a match, if you:

  • Have a strong hands-on mentality in all aspects of the role. 
  • 2+ years of work experience in a client-facing role.
  • Have a customer-centric approach and are able to identify client’s needs.
  • HBO degree or equivalent.
  • Understand conversion and sales cycles.
  • Are professional and have commercial interest.
  • Enjoy working in a team and have an outgoing personality.
  • Are fluent and flawless in Dutch, and comfortable in speaking English.
