What you will be doing:

As our Public Affairs Manager, you will be the face of ParkBee towards municipalities, the government and sustainability organisations. In this role, you play a vital role in policy-making with regards to smart cities and mobility. This means you will come up with new collaborations, working closely with our acquisitions and marketing team, to ensure a smooth and appealing stakeholder strategy. You will report to the Chief Investment Officer. Together, you will come up with our sustainability strategy for the years to come. 

On a regular basis, your tasks will include:

  • Developing a strategy to involve municipalities in ParkBee’s growth, building a network to create a valuable collaboration, for instance by:
    • Creating and executing public outreach campaigns on sustainability subjects.
    • Collaborating with public affairs agencies to get a faster connection to get in closer contact with local politicians, influencers etc.
    • Creating a sustainability strategy and helping ParkBee making a huge impact.
  • Enhancing a strong relationship with local authorities and get their commitment. Eventually open-up new car parks in cooperation with municipalities. 
  • Building and monitoring relationships with all parties involved in working with ParkBee. This involves all stakeholders involved in ParkBee locations such as VVE’s and housing corporations.
  • Understand the needs of stakeholders to refine and optimise the ParkBee product 
  • Creating an operational plan towards externally involved parties for the launch of new ParkBee locations to ensure that all parties are involved and informed.
  • Representing ParkBee at real estate, sustainability and public affairs events.

Who we’re looking for: 

We are looking for someone who is eager to play a crucial role in changing the mobility industry within the Netherlands. It’s a hands-on position, very client-facing. You need to be professional and strategically smart and know how to represent ParkBee to our key stakeholders. It is crucial that you are proactive in communicating with stakeholders, that you understand the needs and guarantee the requirements are fulfilled to ensure a lasting relationship. 

We are likely to be a match, if you are: 

  • An experienced project manager, communication specialist or public affairs manager. Preferably in a role where you always had to build strong relationships with external parties;
  • Experienced in public affairs;
  • Very professional and organised; tactical and strategic thinking are key. 
  • Solution-driven; creative and always thinking ahead;
  • Outstanding when it comes to your organisational and leadership abilities;
  • Excellent in regard to your communication skills: you’re fluent and flawless in Dutch and comfortable in speaking and writing English.
  • Willing to commute to Amsterdam and to travel on a regular basis within the Netherlands.
