We are ParkBee. A team of ambitious frontrunners with different backgrounds but one common goal: making better use of existing parking spaces, so we can give space back to the city. Over the last few years, we have grown from an ambitious start-up to an even more ambitious scale-up. We have offices in the Netherlands and the UK and a very diverse team, with currently 11 nationalities. Team members are Dutch, British, Icelandic, German, Brazilian, Turkish, Spanish, Iranian, Russian, Scottish and Chinese. To do this with even more dedication and attention, we are on the hunt for our first in-house recruiter to join the People & Culture team in Amsterdam. And it could be you!

What you’ll be doing: 

As our Senior Recruitment you will create our recruitment strategy and carefully look at our current recruitment process. You will leverage and optimise the full hiring process of non-tech and tech roles from junior to C-level positions, mostly in Amsterdam, but also in London if needed. Working closely with external recruitment parties, our People & Culture Manage and the hiring managers in the organisation, you’ll be our true specialist in recruitment. 

In this role you will:

  • Be responsible for the full recruitment strategy. The “How” and the “What” to find our future colleagues.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and agencies and be strong in managing all external parties that are assisting you to keep hiring up to speed. You build meaningful relationships with both the hiring managers as all candidates.
  • Coordinate the interview process from A-Z, by:
    • Creating interview manuals and scorecards together with hiring managers so they can easily adapt them to their interviews.
    • Writing appealing job descriptions and post them on all interesting platforms to attract the right talents. 
    • Screening incoming candidates through our ATS.
    • Sourcing and approaching candidates in any possible way. You create personalised and engaging outreach messages to “hook” potential candidates.
    • Preparing the offer and closing the candidate.
  • Educate hiring managers, keeping the speed, give push back and challenge them until we find the ideal candidate.
  • Continuously improve our employer brand and represent ParkBee at job fairs and internship fairs. 

Who we’re looking for:

We need someone that is passionate about hiring great talent, while also having excellent stakeholder management skills. Someone who doesn’t just ‘fills seats’. You are eager to build a strong employer brand, doing whatever it takes to find the ideal candidate and build a talentpool for future needs. Aside from that, we are looking for someone bright, creative and ‘zen’. Even in the busiest of times, you are able to keep a cool head with your planning and organisational skills. 

We are looking for the best recruiter possible, therefore you:

  • Have 5+ years experience in (full-cycle) recruitment (agency or in-house). Experience with fast growing tech-companies is a plus.
  • Have a big love for recruitment, you enjoy being creative in sourcing and like to explore new hacks to reach out to talents.
  • Have experience in hiring both tech and non-tech candidates, preferably you’re experienced in hiring atypical profiles of different senioritis.
  • Have copywriting skills to write enticing job adverts and outreach messages.
  • Always pay attention to detail for a great candidate experience.
  • Are fluent and flawless in English and ideally, also speak Dutch.
  • Are available full-time, with start date as soon as possible.
