Head of Marketing, UK - Fulltime


Up to 15 percent of major city’s space is used for parking. At ParkBee we are on a mission to change that. We develop smart, data-driven technology to make underutilised parking space of office buildings, apartments, hotels and public car parks available to the public. It is our ambition to fully optimise existing parking infrastructure, transitioning on-street parkers to off-street locations, giving space back to the city.

We have grown successfully throughout The Netherlands and UK with over 160 ParkBee locations, mostly within the private market. Now, we are expanding our service partnering with a leading, global real-estate investor to set up a joint venture to grow our portfolio. This will have a huge effect on our growth. We are ready to scale and we plan to expand further in Europe.

To reach the optimal level of utilisation of our car parks, we focus on different target groups via many channels. We work closely with third party app providers that also provide front-end access to our locations, such as RingGo and Parkmobile. 

We also focus on our own growth hacking campaigns to attract high value returning users. We acquire our loyal ‘ParkBee fans’ via online and offline campaigns, our dynamic pricing strategies, customer experience and loyalty programmes.

As we are growing our own portfolio of parking locations in the UK, marketing will play a crucial role, not only in guaranteeing existing traction, but also in exploring new initiatives and partnerships.

Who we’re looking for:

We're looking for a marketing leader, one that can take responsibility and has a strong strategic mentality. You understand what a great marketing campaign is and can take the lead from planning to execution. You are familiar with different data analytic tools and can use them to analyse and optimise all marketing campaigns. Having the freedom to implement your own ideas is what you love. You get excited by creating, testing and optimising. Also, you feel at home in a hard-working, energetic environment and are ready to take our local marketing to the next level. 

You will: 

  • Lead the UK marketing plan across all the marketing channels to achieve market revenue targets. 
  • Manage, optimise and coordinate the performance of the external agencies and freelancers.
  • Analyse user data and ParkBee location data, to finetune our marketing plans accordingly to get optimal results.
  • Acting as a central brand ambassador for the UK to ensure a consistent brand voice across all the channels.
  • Produce first class creative assets including social, digital, print, event collateral and brand toolkits.
  • Implement the B2B communications strategy, reinforcing our PR, social media and events presence. 
  • Collaborate actively in the local front-end partnerships strategy, pitching ParkBee to companies and working closely with the product team on the integration. 
  • Liaise with the global marketing team in the NL and shape the global ParkBee’s brand voice and marketing strategy.

We will likely be a match, if:

  • You have 8+ years of experience managing multi-channel campaigns to end-customers, preferably in a fast-growing environment like a startup or scale-up.
  • You have experience with leading, executing and analysing full funnel marketing strategies to acquire new users and retain high value users.
  • You’re a real stakeholder manager, you understand how to work together with external partners and focus on common goals.
  • You have experience leading a data-driven marketing strategy using quantitative insights (surveys, A/B testing, etc.) and you are familiar with tools like Google Analytics, Google Adwords and Social advertisement tools.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills. English native is required. 
  • Thorough knowledge of the British market and audiences.
  • B2C marketing experience is essential, B2B experience would be a big plus.
  • You are enthusiastic, passionate and entrepreneur: you are aware of the latest trends in marketing and you are not afraid of testing new ideas.
