To make the next step in our growth journey we’re looking for an Assistant Financial Controller. Someone with a good eye for financials, payables, treasury and contracts. As an Assistant Financial Controller, you will manage our daily finance operations, monitoring daily invoices received and payments, making sure the accounting postings in our system are accurate and suppliers get paid on time. You will closely collaborate with different teams, like the Operations team, Growth, Controlling, and our external accountants. This position is for you when you love numbers, know accounting and want to develop yourself in a scale-up company that is growing fast across Europe.

Our mission is bold and challenging. As an Assistant Financial Controller, you will have a crucial role within the team. On a daily basis, you will help ensure our financial process runs smoothly and accurately, setting the foundation for further analysis and support of commercial departments.

Since our business requires a lot of teamwork, you will join forces with all stakeholders connected to ParkBee. In this position, you will work closely together with our financial controller Lorenzo, but also team up with all departments, from Acquisitions to Tech, and frequently interact with partners throughout the industry. Last but not least: you will be of great importance to our growth, as we continue to scale our financial department. You will actively advise and implement improvements within the company and department, therefore contributing to the future of digital parking and beyond.

Main tasks & responsibilities:

• In charge of daily bookkeeping & accounting activities;

• Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable;

• Assist Financial Controller (FC) with month-end and year-end procedures;

• Support of third-party stakeholders, including auditors;

• Assist FC & CFO with ad-hoc research projects, business analysis, budgeting & forecasting;

• Support other departments with cost overview and expenditure analysis;

• Design & implement new control systems;

• Other administrative tasks.

• HBO/WO Bachelor in accounting or financial control;

• 1-5 years of relevant and proven work experience in a payables, accountancy or finance position;

• Experience with ERP systems (Exact Online, Xero), Microsoft office (Excel, Word & Powerpoint) skills and knowledge of Dutch GAAP;

• Fluency in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing;

• Are adaptable and able to work in a fast-changing environment, you want to contribute to the growth of an ambitious scale-up.
