Acquisition Manager



In Amsterdam, 13 percent of the city’s space is used for on-street parking. Still, it’s super hard to find a spot. At ParkBee we are on a mission to change that. We develop smart tech to optimise the use of underutilised parking space. Think of apartments, office buildings and hotels. This way, we reduce the need for on-street parking and keep cities liveable. 

These last few years, we have grown from an ambitious start-up to an even more ambitious scale-up. We have two offices, one in the Netherlands and one in the UK. Together we manage over 130 ParkBee-locations within the private market. Now, we are expanding our service. We are partnering with leading international car park operators and we are ready to grow even more.

Who we’re looking for

Our Acquisitions team is looking for a strategic and hands-on acquisitions manager to further expand our reach within the Netherlands. After we’ve been mainly focussing on the private market, it’s your role to focus on the public market as well. It’s of great importance that we’re adding more locations to our network. Together with a team of three account managers, a lead generator and the Head of Acquisitions, you'll be in charge of converting leads into deals, or in other words into new ParkBee locations. You’re a solid conversation partner and feel comfortable speaking to Director-level people at the client’s side.

What you’ll be doing:

We're looking for someone tactical, who has a hands-on personality, someone who’s able to take away objections at the client's side and convincing ways to create new opportunities. Can you take our scale-up to the next level?

  • You will play an active role in the full acquisition process: find new opportunities by focussing on private, but mostly public accounts, reach out to location owners and other involved parties and of course: closing deals!
  • You will have an active relationship with new as well as existing location owners and are continuously looking for creative ways to keep them involved in our latest developments.
  • You’re very empathic and understand the risk for a real-estate owner, however you’re incredibly good at creating urgency to the client side and able to take away their objections
  • Keeping track of the progress and information about your leads & opportunities in Salesforce
  • Ensure a smooth deal-flow together with your team, to make sure that we connect new locations to our network.
  • Represent ParkBee at expos, conferences and events.

We are likely to be a match, if:

We are looking for someone bright, motivated, tech savvy, entrepreneurial and passionate about B2B sales who is seeking a role where they can truly make a substantial impact.

  • You have 5+  years experience in a B2B acquisitions or business development
  • Understanding the real estate market from your work experience, is a big plus!
  • You’re experienced in the financial, commercial and legal side of deal making
  • You’re strategic, organised, commercial and deal-driven. You are the solid conversation partner for our clients.
  • You are keen to work with data and are able to add value to ParkBee ánd to our clients by making optimal use of data
  • A real team player, that’s who you are, you find it important to work within an entrepreneurial environment.
  • You love looking for new opportunities and are always looking for creative ways to get your work done!
  • Strong communicative skills, both written as verbally. Fluent and flawless in Dutch and comfortable with speaking and writing in English.
