Product Analyst

Are you ready to make an impact on the improvement of our products using data? Would you like to make a positive impact on cities by changing mobility? Our Data team is looking for a Product Analyst!

At ParkBee we optimise the use of existing parking spaces. We work together with property owners, ensure the best experience for car drivers, and most important of all, give space back to the city!

In order to do all that, we gather and analyse data. To make the next step in our growth journey we’re looking for a Product Analyst to focus on the improvement of our products to achieve our bold mission: accelerate and lead the digitalisation of the parking industry!

How you contribute to ParkBee
As our Product Analyst, you’ll be working right in the heart of ParkBee. You have an analytical mindset, strong statistical and technical skills, and the ability to grapple with a rough problem. A real challenge does not scare you, because you’re a problem solver with a proactive approach. You’ll have a range of abilities that allow you to gather data, build hypotheses, process input from stakeholders, form your own approach and methods, and produce mathematical and statistical results.

You will focus on how all the incoming data related to our products (such as data on parking, traffic, location usage, pre-booking, subscriptions, UX and marketing data) can improve the experience of the users. You know how to transform these results into real business value by interacting with internal and external stakeholders and pushing your results into reality.

The job

  • Driving decisions: This is a crucial role within our data team. You’ll partner with our product, marketing and customer support teams, providing meaningful behavioural insights to deliver material improvements to business performance through fast and effective experiments.
  • Experience optimisation: Your responsibilities will primarily focus on product analysis in relation to the optimisation of user experience. This ranges from defining product success metrics to owning live-site experiments and from planning to analysis.
  • Adding value: You will need to apply analytical and modelling techniques to measure the effectiveness and the incremental value of our product deliveries and translate complex data into meaningful insights and business recommendations.
  • Ownership: Together with the data team, you will be the owner of digital tracking and analytics tools implementation.
  • Knowledge: You will bring valuable experience into the team in web analytics and conversion optimisation. Also, you can work with a tag management system such as Google Tag Manager and BI systems e.g. Looker.

Is this your spot?
We’re looking for someone communicative, proactive, hands-on, curious and motivated. You take responsibility to get the job done and thrive in the dynamics of a scale-up. We have a user-focused approach at ParkBee and we are looking for someone who takes initiative themselves to bring the products even further. Together with different departments, you will make a tremendous impact on the success of our products and business as a whole, using different sources of data. Combine that with solving a worldwide problem, and you get a legacy you want to leave behind, right?

We have your perfect spot if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or higher);
  • 2+ years of data analytics experience in a commercial environment or a similar experience;
  • Experience with working on multi-discipline, multi-stakeholder projects and teams;
  • Excellent communications skills, ability to simplify complex issues to deliver high-value recommendations;
  • Knowledge and experience of data analysis using (at least one of) R / Python / SQL.

Park with us
Not only will you change the way we park in cities, but you will also rapidly move your own career forward. Besides that you’ll find:

  • A challenging job that covers your bills, hobbies, and bucket list;
  • Fun Innovation Fridays 🚀 – tweak, hack, break, discover and, have fun!;
  • Ambitious team players you don’t want to challenge with table football (yet);
  • Daily fresh lunch, snacks, Macbook and inspiring office in Amsterdam on the same fruitful soil as leading scaleups like Amazon, Uber, and eBay (where we would love to have you around for at least 2-3 days a week);
  • Visa sponsorship and 30% ruling for internationals;
  • Personal development budget and virtual shares (if you share your time full time).

Reserve your spot, drive in later
Sounds good? We would love to hear from you! We don’t require (in fact, please don’t write) a long motivation letter; we’d rather have a few pointers, your LinkedIn (or resume) and a good chat to tell you everything you want to know.
