We have offices in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, and are now ready to conquer the rest of Europe. Join us in our fast growing journey!

The job

As a data-driven company, ParkBee gathers all kinds of data from different sources – be it live traffic and parking data, financial transactions, customer support enquiries, technical monitoring, or simply detailed information on our various products and their usage. The data lead is the primary person responsible for setting the data strategy, covering both data engineering and BI systems, and overseeing the day to day operation.

In this role, you will work with a data engineer and guide data and business intelligence (BI) analysts, to maintain and improve this system and encourage the spread of a data-driven attitude throughout the company. You have the full authority to make changes to our systems, introduce new tools, run workshops, and so on, as you see fit. Some of the responsibilities you have:

  • Overseeing our data engineering activities and coordinating with the development team and DevOps team;
  • Plan out and manage all data structures, transformations, and connections between this data in our BI system;
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of this data;
  • Overseeing BI strategy and working closely with analyst and internal stakeholders on key dashboard;
  • Help analyse, develop, and track business metrics based on this data;
  • Generating hypotheses for business improvement opportunities, validating this with data and facts.
