About us:

Up to 15 percent of a major city’s space is used for parking. At the same time, roughly 85 percent of existing parking spaces are daily unoccupied. At ParkBee, we are on a mission to change that. We develop smart technology to optimise the use of existing parking space, thereby allowing cities to reduce on-street parking and give space back to the city. These last few years we have seen our business grow exponentially and our goal is to expand even further.

ParkBee is growing rapidly and the team is playing a central role in this. Currently we have a team of 65 people in The Netherlands and 7 people working in our London office and we keep growing! Our People & Culture team is responsible for attracting and hiring talented people, stimulating and coordinating personal and team development, and responsible for everything that has to do with creating an inspiring and cool workspace - even online.

 

What you’ll be doing:

Every day is different at ParkBee, with new challenges and opportunities. We are a dynamic company with an open feedback culture. As Recruitment Intern you’re not just any intern, but a valued member of a relatively small team. 

As a recruitment intern, you will be assisting in general recruitment activities, supporting our talent acquisition manager. Next to that you will be responsible for carrying out initial selection and screening activities of designated roles.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate appointments between candidates, recruiters and managers.
  • Be in touch with candidates, by taking calls and handling the associated email inbox for candidates 
  • Collect, check and process candidate data (CVs, salary information, references, etc.).
  • Coordinate online case studies and assessments (requests, monitor deadlines, send to relevant candidates).
  • Ensure accurate recruitment administration in recruitment systems and excel overviews.
  • Gather and check data related to online recruitment campaigns.
  • Posts job vacancies on job websites and -where applicable- other (online) channels.
  • Screen candidates for junior positions during telephone calls.

 

Who we’re looking for:

We need someone with excellent communication skills, is proactive and who likes to take the initiative. You love to experiment with processes to find the optimum methods, and are result-oriented. Someone who loves the idea of being part of a fast growing organisation, rolling up your sleeves and making a difference every day. You are a fast learner, critical thinker and aim for the best outcome. Even in the busiest of times, you are able to keep a cool head with your planning and organisational skills

 

We’re likely to be a match, if you:

  • Are currently studying or a recent graduate from the fields of Business administration, Human Resources or Communications and looking for a 5 to 6 month internship as of 1st of January, 2021.
  • Are looking for a full-time internship (40 hours) and currently based closely to Amsterdam (max 40 km away);
  • Are fluent in English, bonus points if you speak Dutch as well;
  • Have a wish to work in a tech - fast paced environment;
  • Bonus if you already have experience with recruitment tooling, social media marketing and online search.
